Senior Living Community Events
For nearly 30 years years, Pantasia has been
honored to perform for senior adults! We perform for independent living social events to small concerts for memory care patients, skilled care, and even family events. Pantasia takes into consideration our performance volume, song choice, and types of audience participation appropriate for our senior audience, creating the best possible experience for your senior population. Our music will remind residents of music they once enjoyed on a cruise or bring back memories of tropical locale they once visited. The songs we perform are recognizable and festive without being loud.
Pantasia can serve as background music for a meal or provide an interactive program with an educational component- teaching seniors about the rich history and culture behind the making of the steel drum. Seniors are always interested and surprised to learn about its connection to World War II and the U.S. Navy! We offer 5 different musical programs- Caribbean Cruise, Spotlight on American Music, I Love Beach Music, Veteran's Day Armed Forces Salute, and Caribbean Christmas. We offer significant discounts for communities booking more than one program per calendar year. Pantasia is a unique and exciting option for your seniors. Many of our audience members have never seen or heard a steel drum before and we love being able to share something NEW and provide opportunities for learning. I’m 94 years old and I’ve never seen a steel drum or heard a steel band performance until today. Thank you for giving me a chance to see this.- Eunis B., 94, NHC Parklane resident Excellent music. It brought back a lot of good memories for me.- Maxine M., 93, The Palmettos of Parklane resident
I appreciated how the band members made this program entertaining and educational. At my age, I didn't expect to learn something new during their program, but I did. It was very enjoyable. - Jean R., 96, Wellmore resident
This program made all the difference in my day. Thank you.- Betty P., 92, NHC Parklane resident

The music and the food made residents feel as though they were whisked away to a tropical paradise! -Cola. Presbyterian Community Facebook
I didn't think I would be able to learn to play something on a steel drum. Not only did I enjoy it, I was able to do something I've never done before- play an instrument. I learned so much about the steel drum and the performers were so respectful and nice to everyone. I'm so happy I was able to be a part of this.- Ruth K., 86, independent living
